Any site that states a fixed daily cost for Jordan is guessing at your travel style, your season and your hotel taste. So instead of inventing numbers, here is the structure of the spend — and a calculator that works from your estimates, not ours.
Jordan is usually travelled as one guided circuit — Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea — so the trip's price is largely the price of that circuit and how it is driven and guided.

The backbone line item if you book a guided tour of Jordan: it typically bundles guiding, transport between sights, and often accommodation and some meals into one price, replacing several categories below.
Day activities and tickets
Day tours, attraction tickets and excursions booked separately — the category that grows fastest when you build the trip yourself instead of taking a bundled tour.
Stays
Hotels, riads, guesthouses or resorts, night by night. Location within the destination usually matters as much as standard.
Food
From street food and local restaurants to hotel dining — the widest daily swing in most trips, and the easiest category to steer up or down.
Local transport
Airport transfers, taxis, metros, ferries and internal journeys that are not already inside a tour price.
Up or down
What drives the price of a Jordan trip
- Private vs group touring: private drivers and guides are the norm and the main price variable on the circuit.
- Petra time: one day or two inside Petra changes both ticket type and hotel nights at Wadi Musa.
- Wadi Rum camp standard: camps range from basic Bedouin tents to luxury domes at very different prices.
- Season: the spring and autumn windows price highest; summer heat brings the circuit down.
